Hello ladies
Day 10 you are going to make it!
I like to think about the difference between the people who are watching a parade or in the parade, and the helicopter pilot who is up above the parade and can see the whole thing, start to finish.
Both of them are enjoying the parade. One of them has a close-up view of what is happening directly in front of them, behind them, in their immediate area; whereas the helicopter pilot has the view of the whole big picture. He can still see individuals, but he has a much broader perspective.
Today as I think of God, I think of Him as the helicopter pilot and I think of me being stuck down in the parade. I'm having a good time, I can see a whole bunch of stuff that's really interested for me to look at, but I really have a pretty limited perspective about what's going on in the bigger picture.
That's why it's important, before every bite today, to thank God that He has the big picture, that He's in heaven, that He can see it all, and that He can tell me what to do next, so I'll be prepared for what's coming up around the corner.
So today see that God knows and has a plan as you eat with God!
Time to step on the scales..how did you do..

Day 9 of 31 day challenge
Good Morning Ladies
As I was studying this morning, I was thinking about our study last Monday.
We have some wonderful ladies in all our 4 groups. In our group we were talking about our Heart Attitude. And how God wants our heart toward Him to be right.
We talked about while we grumbled about what is going on around us, God was working
on our blessings. (Just like he was with Naomi) We talked about how Gods ability to restore our lives even after we make such a mess of it is way beyond our understanding.
So I was thinking about how much I complain about my excess poundage. It is I that have put this weight on, it is I that have messed up Gods master piece. (lol)
So today, instead of thinking or complaining about my excess poundage, I am going to be thankful for the beautiful Sonshine in my life. I hope that you will join me and, enjoy every bite in the presence of God.
Verse for today: Jer. 32:27 You are the God of all mankind. NOTHING is to HARD for you! Amen and Amen

Day 8 of 31 day challenge
Have you ever heard of the following saying?
"Everything that comes into my life, satan wants to use to destroy me. But everything that comes into my life, God wants to use for my good."
Before every bite today, meditate on this thought, that
"Everything that comes into my life today, satan wants to use to destroy me. But everything that comes into my life today, God wants to use for my good."
The difference is, that when we yield to God, He can bring beautiful flower gardens out of the most awful pile of manure we've ever seen or stepped in. So, yield everything to Jesus before every bite today.
Ok maybe I got a little graffiti but I think you get the picture!!'
Bible verse to ponder today is: 1 John 5:14
Now this is the confidence we have before Him; when ever we ask anything according to His will, He hears us..... this is his will that we eat with him!!

Day 7 of 31 day challenge
Day 7 already!! Hang in there
When was the last time you were in the presence of a very controlling person? Someone who, it seemed like, no matter what they wanted done, instead of asking you politely, and letting you decide if that was something you wanted to help them with, they would pressure you into providing for them this thing that they wanted so badly.
I'm wondering if sometimes we don't go to God like that. We know what we want and all we want to do is convince Him to give it to us.
Just today, before every bite, commit yourself to letting God be God and you be you. Pray to Him. Talk to Him. But don't try to control Him into rescuing you from bondages that you got into yourself.
If He wants to free you, which He does, He'll do it on His day, in His way. Today, just enjoy every bite with Jesus!
Verse for today is Deut 6:5-6 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.
As you eat with God today remember to love Him with all your heart that is why you are eating with Him.

Day 6 of 31 day challenge
How you doing today?
Do you like to bat a ball, or maybe you use to play ball in high school.
As I use to watch batting practice when my daughters were in school sometimes she would hit the ball and it would go way out; sometimes she would miss the ball completely; other times she would hit and it would just go a little way.
Well, I think that's how we should think today about every single bite: It's just batting practice! Some bites you're gonna hit them out of park! I mean you're just gonna take that bite thinking about Jesus and you're gonna spend quite a few moments praying or praising God. Hey, that's just out of the park!
Then you've got some bites when you're just gonna completely forget to praise Him at all. That's OK! Batters do that all the time.
Then we've got some that you're just gonna take a bite and your just gonna spend a moment with God and that's better than not hitting it at all! It might even be a punt that gets you to first base.
Tell you what: Today, every bite, think "batting practice"
We are not perfect so don't beat your self up if you do not hit the ball every single time. The verse I want you to meditate on today is.
Ps 117 Praise the Lord all you nations
Extol him all you peoples
For great is his love toward us
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever
He loves you sister have a blessed day

Day 5 of 31 day challenge
Wow on day 5 already: Your doing great!
Have you ever seen a space shuttle take off, even if it was just on TV?
I remember the sense of awe and wonder!
That huge amount of energy and explosion that it took to get that space shuttle off the launch pad! It's just breath-taking how much energy that took! And, then it shoots up into the sky, and when it breaks through, it's used up 95 percent of its fuel at lift off. WOW
It breaks through, and now it basically uses no fuel. It uses hardly any fuel at all for the rest of its journey.
That's how eating with God is. At first it's going to feel a little difficult.
But do you know what? If you will just stick with it, just say, "You know? I'm going to succeed when I can and I'm going to let the rest go.
I never done this before, it's just something I want to do and I even believe it is something God wants me to do.
Our verse today is and I believe everyone knows this verse by heart, but do we really know it in our heart?
Matthew 7:7 Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you. Key words ASK! God is saying just ask me and I will help you eat with me, cause this is my will to have communion with you!!
So just one bite at a time, eat with Jesus, and let Him worry about the getting you to the point where it's easy, cause he will.

Day 4 of 31 day challenge
Hey Ladies day 4...wonder how you are doing
What is one of the best feelings you can imagine?
Just, something that you really look forward to, a feeling you really enjoy.
It might be possibly a massage, or a pedicure? For me, one of my favorite things is when my beautician is cutting my hair, and she stops, and she massages my head. Oh, my goodness! That feels so good!
Food is supposed to be THAT enjoyable to us!
God did not make it to be torment, He made it to be fellowship! But we have so perverted it! And we have come under all these rules and laws that make us so "answering to it" in such a negative way. And we're not supposed to do that! We're supposed to enjoy it in God's presence and be thankful to Him for it.
So, before your bites today, think of your favorite physical feeling, other then eating food. Realize that food is supposed to be THAT enjoyable. Enjoy every bite in the presence of God.
And you have a great day! hang in there yyou can do it!!
