God showed up and showed off this week-end and I love it when he does that.
Yes we did not have Merniva and Laverna serious this year but wow what a powerful play that was. I would like you all to blog something that was especially meaningful to you. What was the powerful thing that you brought away from the retreat?
I personally was so touched by everyone that gave their journey's. It took alot of guts for some of them to expose themselves and I really give them credit for that! I hope God gives them an extra jewel for their strength! Thouroughly enjoyed the whole weekend! I don't know what I would do without the love and support of my dear sisters. Love you guys all alot!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was great to hear all the Ladies Journey's and know that God works in all our lives. It was nice to get to know some new ladies too. I enjoyed the play it was very well done and meaningful!
ReplyDeleteIt was an amazing 24 hours spent with the most amazing girlfriends ever! I appreciated the many journeys that were shared and the willingness of these ladies to see the way God has worked in their lives. What did I take away from it? Knowing that regardless of our circumstances, God is going to be there with us. As Mari shared, "HE" is all we need. Thank you to Carolyn AND to the many ladies who had such a huge part in planning this event...from tickets to food to music to decorating to tech stuff to those who shared to those who cleaned up to the drama to leaders WOW!!! Too numerous to mention..you all did awesome!!!

AS someone mentiomed at our table that God had gotten to gether at that table some of the girls with the same issus and God showed us that we can work on them together and we need not go it alone. Just keep building. and trusting in the Lord and he will carry u through. I am renewed. Thank u to everyone who had a hand in the direction of the retreat. I 2 love u sisters very much.
ReplyDeleteI was touched by the journeys shared by all of the ladies. They were all different and yet all of them said how important it is to stay close to our Father in Heaven. They are so right! I need God and I need him daily! There are too many people out there who need to see Gods light. They are looking for direction and I want to help them find it! Thank you ladies for opening up your hearts and letting me take a peek at your journey ...it was so encouraging!!!

ReplyDeleteAmen Sister (Mari) I'm ready for another weekend and many more stories to keep encouraging us and growing us. What a way to share the joy, love and strength of our Father and Lord. As the enemy had a hold of us and the plans for the retreat "God" took command and it becames HIS. What a relief to know that he does that when we call on his name.
