Hello once again from the DR.
We have had an amazing day. God has shown up and has showed off!
What fun it is to see God work in amazing ways.
We visited the ministry sites today and went for fun to a water fall.
4 of our young beautiful gals climbed over rocks, fell in the water and was determined to get to the water falls the hard way. But they made it.
One of our gals just fell in the water...that same gal has yet to received her luggage. She is an amazing lady our Kathy is. She has borrowed everything and she is doing fine. God has supplied all her needs and ours.
One lady knew her carry on luggage that she was made to check was gone, the air port knew nothing of this luggage. She said I think it is gone and I know God wants to show me something but what ever he wants is ok. Some of our ladies got together and said lets pray and ask God to let that luggage just show up.. When Nate went to the airport to get the rest of the luggage the guy says to Nate this is your luggage. He said no I don't think that is,,,the guy said JUST TAKE IT - ITS YOURS. When he got to the base. it was the first suit case that was pulled off the truck.
It was an amazing story. All of us ladies were screaming, yelling and praising God!

Off to the Dominican church tomorrow. Miss all our family's, but God has called these ladies to be here. Thank you for praying for us and continue as we begin our sites on Monday!

Blessings

We are in the DR

Starting our Mission has been God leading
At 6am we left the church. Thanks to Marina and Larry and Pastor Drew for praying us off. We were off to Chicago no problems having lots of time.
Stoped for breakfast and then........phone calls from American Airlines
Your flight is delayed you will not make your fligth to DR.

This wonderful lady was our first of many angels
After a number of run nows and call for prayer and and do not dilly dally you will not make your plane to your going to Virgia and you are going to Alanta and you all are going to Knoxville.
But by the end of the day we were all in Florida and on our last plane.
not all the luggage is here but it will arrive we believe God had his hand in the whole day. As we arrived at the base we were all praising God and saying....God is faithful and we flew under his wing all the way!!
Lots of stories later of how God used us on the flights.
We need ti run for now, but all is well today!!

Dominican Republic

God is TOTALLY Faithful! I need to repeat that over and over.
It is amazing what has happened in the last 2 days and how God has been so faithful.
The enemy has tried every thing he can to steal our joy and keep us from focusing on our mission to the DR. But God is faithful.

Today I want you that are staying at home to know how much you are needed.
You are so apart of us going. In fact you are the backbone of our trip.
We need you to pray for us so much and we thank you for doing that already!
It was so neat to be able to call yesterday and say Sisters we need prayer...
I just have to share one answer to prayer yesterday( there were a lot of answers)
A sister who is going on the trip called and left a message on my recorder to pray, she was very sick....but God healed her right in her bed and she was there last night packing suit cases. Have I told you how Faithful God is?

As we leave tomorrow morning at 6am please pray for unity to begin to form in our team and all sickness be healed and gas to stay in the tanks in the DR!
Phil 2 says "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others."
In our relationships with one another we want the same mind set as Jesus Christ!
God has set a task before us and we want to do it without complaining or grumbling.
This in not a vacation, we are Gods hands and feet. We are ordinary Christian ladies working for an Extraordinary God waiting to show His power to those desperate for Him! Did I say God is Faithful?

Check this blog, I will be updating here as we can!
Thank you all for praying for us the next 10 days.
God bless you all for being so faithful!

Dominican Republic

This note is from the hearts of the 23 ladies that are going to the Dominican Republic. We are asking you all to pray for us a lot the next few days. We have a lot of our group sick and not feeling up to par. The enemy is trying his best to discourage some of the ladies. Then there are those who are tired and need some good rest the next couple days. We are all excited about going, and I know that Our God reigns!!

We are also trying to get our donations ready to take and stay under 50 lbs.
But most of all I would like you all to pray for us as we seek God as to what he wants us to learn as we go. This is all about Him and how he wants to use us.

I really believe that this venture is a spiritual journey. It is a time when the Lord can open our hearts to see the world through His eyes and break our hearts, as His heart breaks for all His people. As we leave the comforts of home along with our husbands and families it is a time that we must become more responsive to God and rely totally on him. It can be a opening of a door that God has ready to lead us into in the future with Him. Pray we are ready to Drink the Cup with Him.

Thank you ladies for lifting us up in prayer
Blessings to you all....

Dominican Republic

Hello Ladies ("T" minus 5 and counting)
For the next 13 days I am going to be blogging about the DR.
I am asking all of you that are not going with us to pray for us so much.
We all need your prayers and we will be praying for all of you back home also.
I hope that all of you have picked up the prayer papers and will be praying for us.
A number of you wanted to know what I will be doing, not sure.... I will be visiting all the sites and helping where ever I am needed.

Here are a few things I would love you all to pray about.
1) Sickness (there are some families that are sick and need a touch from God before we leave)
2) Pray for God to protect us and send his angels to keep us safe
3) Pray as these very valuable ladies leave their families, friends and husbands that all will go well and their families will be just fine!
4) Pray that God opens our eyes and hearts and our journey becomes a spiritual journey, turning closer to Him.
5) Pray that when God asks us to drink of His cup we will be willing to do that.

I want to thank each of you wonderful ladies for caring enough to pray as these precious ladies. To go and do as God has asked them to.
I love each of you and want Gods will to be done in all your lives

Our verse for today is
Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim
good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free. To proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.
Gods Mission = our mission! Amen
