love

I was reading this morning in the message bible and I came across some verses I just have to share with you all. I am reminded that this is how you guys are through these verses. love you all

Love from the center of who you are; don't fake it.
RUN for dear life from evil
Hold on for dear life to good
Be good friends who love deeply, practice playing second fiddle
Don't burn out. keep yourself fueled and aflame
Be alert servants of the Masters, cheerfully expectant.
Don't quit in hard times, Pray all the harder.
Help needy Christians, be inventive in hospitality.
Laugh with your happy friends, when they're happy
Share tears when they're down.
Get along with each other, don't be stuck up.
Make friends with nobodies, don't be the great somebody. Romans 12:9-16

Obedience from the heart! God wants us to offer ourselves as living sacrifices - daily laying aside our own desires to follow him. Putting ALL of our energy and resources that he has given us at His disposal and trusting Him to guide us!
We do this out of gratitude that our sins have been forgiven!
Do it joyfully for His service.
Praying for each of you during this precious season
Merry Christmas!

  2. Wow, what a great way to show how to love..."play second fiddle". In orchestra we had first 1st chair, 2nd chair and on down, it was directly a reflection of how well you played your given instrument and the first chair sat first and the others down the line, ususally more visible and more solos or difficult parts. The second chair always wanted to be first chair as did most other chairs, to be first chair carried with it a respect and aire of distinguishment...the system is geared like our world, but without the other chairs, how well would one instrument fill the part they are playing, no one would hear them and the whole orchestra would sound unbalanced without the whole violin section for instance. So to want to be second fiddle or flute or clarinet, how much humility does that take to want someone else to have the prestige and glory or the first chair...think of others as highter than yourself. What a good illustration and lesson!

  3. Amen Sisters! It is so important that we stand together as friends at ALL times. I've recently felt the love and strength that comes from my girlfriends, WHAT A BLESSING! God is so good and just keeps on providing for my every need, sometimes even before I even know I need it. AMAZING!! I like what Ephesians 5:19-21 tells us. "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ." Submitting to each other can be hard sometimes but totally worth the effort. The blessings that follow are immeasurable. Thanks for everything girlfriends!!! Keep those prayer coming.
    Love You All
